Under the directive of President General George Washington, the Portland Head Light began construction in 1787 and was first lit in 1791 making it the oldest lighthouse in the state of Maine.

The original artwork is drawn on high quality Aquarelle Arches watercolor paper and colored with professional quality soft colored pencils. 
Giclee prints are made with professional aqueous pigment inks on Epson Hot Pressed | Smooth Matte | Acid-Free | 330 gsm | 17 mil | Bright White | 100% Cotton fine art paper. 
All prints are trimmed, wrapped with acid-free polypropylene bags and shipped in kraft Stay-Flat cardboard mailers with a hardboard backer.
Each print comes numbered and signed by the artist.
