Hand colored ornaments of vintage illustrations by Sir John Tenniel from the original copies of Lewis Carroll's famed books, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, decoupaged on birch wood ovals. I finish these with a glossy sealant and gild them with liquid gold leaf. Each ornament comes complete with a pearlized gold raffia loop bow ready for hanging. 🐚 OUR PROCESS These decoupaged oval discs are hand-crafted with a fine level of detail. Images are carefully set on a base of white paint and sealed with multiple layers of lacquer to give a refined porcelain feel and look to them. A delicate edging of liquid gold leaf gives the finishing touch. Ornament backs are stained in a rich brown and sealed in high gloss.
